It's an introduction to pole dancing. No experience is necessary and it doesn't matter if you haven't exercised in years...just come try it out! Pole Fitness class will teach you the basics of pole dancing. In between a warm up and cool down, you will learn proper foot and hand placement, the pole walk, and pole spins such as the classic fireman.
You'll be surprised to see that the other women in the class are JUST LIKE YOU! No need to feel uncomfortable or like you won't fit in. Pole dancing is fun! It strengthens your body, mind, and spirit.
Intro to Pole Fitness is a one hour introduction broken down into two segments. In the first segment, the instructor introduces the student to pole fitness and demonstrates several moves the student can eventually learn. The second segment includes hands-on instruction and interactive participation in basic pole moves. The student receives an excellent sample of our pole fitness course.
Beginner Pole Dance teaches the fundamentals of pole dance -- floor work and basic spins, pirouettes and climbs. It also teaches proper technique for pole spins, and upper body and core strengthening exercises. The classes are progressive, so you will build each week on what was learned in prior classes.
INTRO POLE FITNESS
The perfect introduction to pole dancing. You will learn what a fun and fantastic workout pole dancing is so-- prepare to become addicted!
Starting from the ground up, by getting familiar with your pole, you will learn 6 beginner pole spins (Basic Fireman, Crossed Leg Fireman, Front Hook, Front Hook Open Knee, Attitude, Carousel), dance and floor moves. You will also learn how to incorporate these moves, which tighten and tone your body, into your first routine.
Cardio and strength combine to give you an invigorating workout that will keep you coming back for more! With a new format every week, your body will be in it's finest form yet! Bring your runners...this class is not for the delicate!
Perfect what you learned in Beginners Class, and lift off - performing moves with an element of challenge. Get to know your body.
Intermediate Pole Dance builds upon the basic spins learned in Beginning Pole Dance and uses the transitions learned to develop a smooth, flowing dance. You will learn all the intermediate to advanced pole tricks, including inversions, combination spins, and routines. More strength conditioning exercises are added to further enhance muscle strength and confidence on the pole.
This class continues to get into more advance moves like going sideways! The class also incorporates free dance so you will learn how to transition effectively from floor to pole, wall or just dancing alone.
During this course you are becoming one with your inner pole dancer. You are feeling more sexy and confident about your abilities. You are powerful. Moves such as the Back Hook and many more along with, dance, floor moves all wrapped up in a routine will leave you completely invigorated. This class is more advanced than the beginners class and, you have truly become a “Lady of SWAY”!!!!
As a “Lady of SWAY” you will be introduced to even more challenging moves as you climb to new heights! You will increase your upper body strength and improve your cardio with each move.
As a “Lady of SWAY” you are becoming physically and emotionally stronger. Feeling empowered, you take risks and let yourself shine as you learn challenging pole, dance and floor moves. Let the music move you, and enjoy the visual art you have become with your routine.
